Membership Application

Ridge Live Steamers, Inc., is open to all persons interested in live steam and large scale model railroading.

Membership types

1. Family membership – a membership for family members living in the same household. Adults (at least 18 years of age) have regular member status and children (under the age of 18) have the student member status. A family membership is limited to two votes in elections and can hold only one elected office at any given time.
2. Regular member – a regular member must be at least 18 years of age, is allowed full access to the railroad at any time, is allowed equipment storage rental space (as available) contained on RLS corporate property, hold full voting membership and is allowed the right to hold office in the corporation.
3. Associate member – associate members must be at least 18 years of age, may run trains only during meets and normal run days. Associates may run trains at other times only under supervision of a regular member. Associate members do not have equipment storage rental space rights on RLS corporate property, do not hold office in the corporation and do not have voting privileges.
4. Student member – student members must be under 18 years of age, may run trains only during meets and normal run days and only under direct supervision of a regular member, may run trains at other times but only under direct supervision of a regular member. Student members do not have equipment storage rental space rights on RLS corporate property, do not hold office in the corporation and do not have voting privileges.

Dues are due on January 1 each year and delinquent as of March 1.
