MEMBER’S ANNUAL WAIVER 

This form must be completed, signed and returned prior to participation in activities or riding on any train. Participants under the age of 18 years must have the signed approval of a parent or legal guardian to ride a train. Be it known the Ridge Live Steamers, Inc., its members and guests, including any Operators and Owners of trains at the Ridge Lines track, are engaged in the non-professional pursuit of the hobby of large scale model railroading, and as amateurs have built and maintain the equipment upon which you are about to ride. This equipment has not been inspected nor certified as safe by any governmental or official agency, nor is it represented to be safe by the Owner or Operator or by the Ridge Live Steamers, Inc. RIDE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

RELEASE AND WAIVER

The undersigned is aware of the possible hazards involved in this recreational activity, to include FALLING OFF OF A TRAIN, BEING STRUCK BY A MOVING TRAIN, FALLING OVER TRACK OR OTHER HAZARDS ON THE PROPERTY, BEING STRUCK BY THE TRANSFER TABLE, OR OTHER UNFORSEEN ACCIDENTS. While on Ridge Live Steamers, Inc. property photographs and/or videos of you/your equipment may be taken and subsequently published in such places as the RLS Website or other online locations.  I, my agents and heirs hereby release, discharge and agree to save harmless the photographer and Ridge Live Steamers, Inc. from any liability pertaining to said photographs and/or videos and their publication, either electronic or printed. The undersigned hereby waives any and all claims involving any negligent act by persons associated with the Ridge Live Steamers, Inc. The undersigned participant and his/her parent or legal guardian (if under the age of 18 years), with full knowledge of the above, does hereby execute this RELEASE AND WAIVER for him/her self and his/her heirs, successors, representatives and assigns, and hereby agrees and represents as follows: To release Ridge Live Steamers, Inc., its members, volunteers, agents, representatives, other organizations affiliated with it and Owners and Operators of trains operated at the Ridge Lines track from any and all liability, loss, damage, costs, claims and/or causes of participation with and/or riding on trains.

I/WE CHOOSE TO PARTICIPATE AND/OR RIDE THE TRAIN AT MY/OUR RISK

I/WE AGREE TO FOLLOW POSTED AND STATED RULES.

I/WE UNDERSTAND THAT I/WE COULD FALL OFF OF A TRAIN.
